This, though.

I love when we reframe issues to illustrate them as they are- the perpetrator’s problem.

‘Cause people seem to only post the 20-something Audrey Hepburn

this is genuinely the first photo i’ve seen of her looking older

I didn’t know Audrey Hepburn grew old into a bomb-ass old lady until like, last year. I thought she died young cuz that’s the only pictures I’ve ever seen.

omg

<3

she was also the granddaughter of a baron, the daughter of a nazi sympathizer, spent her teens doing ballet to secretly raise money for the dutch resistance against the nazis, and spent her post-film career as a goodwill ambassador of UNICEF, winning the presidential medal of freedom for her efforts.
and history remembers her as pretty.

and history remembers her as pretty.
and history remembers her as pretty.
and history remembers her as pretty.

omg guys calm down she was exceptionally beautiful and she’s most known for her acting career
no one in hollywood is widely known for other things, typically. once you step in the spotlight that’s what you’re labeled to be.

I’m so insanely disgusted by PETAs sexualization of women and body shaming in advertisements that are directed towards animal rights and should in no way have anything to do with the physical form of women or men. This not only perpetuates the idea that women need to look a certain way and that the only way a woman could possibly hold a stance on something is to meet the patriarchal beauty standards rather than by having a moral code and the ability to think critically about what should and should not be acceptable, but it takes away from what is trying to be done here. These ads are supposed to promote animal rights, there is not a single fact displayed in these advertisements, just pure sexualization to attract people to the image, these types of messages go no farther than the eyes.

peta has always been aggressive in it’s ads it’s not a new thing
